She is doing really well. I am trying to teach her to come out of her nest when I call her name. I dont do so during the day, just when she would normally be awake. I put some sunflower seeds into a bit of cardboard tube and then rattle them and call her name. She has started to respond !!

I trained my last hammy in the same way, although I don't think it was the name calling but the promise/association of food that was what did it :thumb::lol:

That is amazing. I didn't know hampster could respond to their name. I know rats do. Haven't much knowledge on hammies.
