Alpha Buck
My OH went down to feed the buns this morning and found an injured Rosa and lots of blood. He took her off to the vets and it is just superficial but it certainly looks nasty. Her other ear has two regular bites on it as well.
Rosa and Ash have been together for just over 2 weeks and it seemed to be going fine. I've seen them grooming each otehr and sitting together. However I don't think they had really sorted out their dominance question and I guess Ash got experated with Rosa. Rosa had a bad start in life and lots of human handling and I wonder if she just doesn't understand how to relate to other buns well. This is the third attempt at bonding her and this one was going so well. The question is what to do now? DO we try to rebond or does Ash need to go back to Cuddly Critters? What would you do? And, don't say find new companions for both of them - 10 buns is quite enough!
