Many illnesses share similar symptoms but require different treatments. A medical exam is necessary for an accurate diagnosis, without which appropriate treatment cannot be given.

You should always consult your vet before following any suggestions for medication or treatment you have read about. The wrong treatment could make your rabbit worse or mean your vet is unable to give the correct treatment because of drug interactions. Even non prescription drugs can do harm if given inappropriately.

Hi,

I've noticed that when i look at photos of other rabbits on RU there eyes are always one colour. Daisy always has a white patch in the corner of her eyes. They have always been like this as far as i can remember, and the vet has never mentioned it as being a problem. Is this normal? and does anyone know what it is? I've attached a photo for you-

Thanks,
Laura

it looks like the third eye lid. Is she a giant breed? They often show more on giant breeds for some reason. Usually in another rabbit they can be an indication of the rabbit being unwell, but I think in giants it can be normal.

Also she's gorgeous!

Yeah she is a French Lop, and i dont think she is unwell, she is flopping at the moment so seems quite happy lol
