I've looked at the lists I'd usually check with and I can't see it listed as safe or toxic - if in any doubt, I usually err on the side of caution and assume it's unsafe. The RHS list it as 'somewhat poisonous' but that's for humans so not necessarily a good indication.
Passiflora caerulea (Hardy passion flower) - somewhat poisonous

If you want to get some bunny friendly plants pretty soon & don't get a more firm answer, then perhaps you could have a look at a couple of the safe lists and see what takes your fancy?

Thanks for confirming rabbitnutrition.

Ruthie, the lists aren't exhaustive so, just because a plant isn't listed on the toxic list, that wouldn't automatically make it safe (and vice versa). I usually tend to look at a few lists (toxic and safe) to see if it appears on any - if it doesn't, I just assume it's a no-no. :D

I hope he enjoys the gardening. :D I've planted some nasturtiums from seeds that I collected from last years' plants and I've also got some dwarf buddleia plug plants that will need planting in containers soon. I haven't killed anything yet, so I must be doing something right.:lol::lol:

It's worth bearing in mind that some plants may need some protection around the stem so that then the bunnies can just nibble on the leaves - otherwise the bunnies may well just lop the whole plant off.:lol:
