about hay

Just took delivery of 10 bales of lovely hay for £4 a bale...... been paying £7.50 a bale since my usual supplier ran out , my daughter saw this advertised and I was stupidly pleased!!

The people selling it were about 15 miles from me I suppose , they had bought more than they could store and were selling it on.

A bale lasts me about a week if I'm lucky so this should take me through to the next crop hopefully.
