Someone may have already posted about this item on Radio 4 yesterday.

Large increase in cases of rabbit cruelty/neglect/abandonment (although we already knew that). Visited a rabbit rescue in Salford.

Apparently an expert has given the cost of keeping a rabbit (assuming life-span of 8-12 yrs) as £11,000 and cost of keeping a pair over £16,000 - much the same as cats and dogs. Interesting if disturbing item.
 
So my lot have set me back (or will do) at least £20,000!! (5 bunnies,inc My Lost Lily)
 
it doesn't surprise me at all.
i have always said i spent more on my 3 rabbits than my two large dogs.

they take up more time, money and space but they are so worth it. i just wish others would be aware of this before getting a bunny.
