Please keep in mind that posts on this forum are from members of the public sharing personal opinions. It is not a replacement for qualified medical advice from a veterinarian. Many illnesses share similar symptoms but require different treatments. A medical exam is necessary for an accurate diagnosis, without which appropriate treatment cannot be given.

You should always consult your vet before following any suggestions for medication or treatment you have read about. The wrong treatment could make your rabbit worse or mean your vet is unable to give the correct treatment because of drug interactions. Even non prescription drugs can do harm if given inappropriately.

Urgent Medical Advice: If you need, or think you might need, urgent medical advice you should contact a vet. If it is out of working hours phone your vet's normal number and there should be an answer phone message with instructions on what to do.

New All in One Vaccination

SJGiggles

New Kit
Hi

Tink has just been booked in to have her first vaccinations on Friday, the nurse I spoke to on the phone recommended the new all in one vaccination that only has to be given once a year.
Has anyone else's bun had this?

Cheers

SJ

Hiya!!

My vet is a bunny specialist (Ian Sayers) and he uses it!!! Im having my lot done in June.

Five of mine had it done last week and all were fine afterwards. My other six will be having it aswell.

My ones had theirs done a week ago and all are fine, much better than with the other vaccines in fact! I did get in lots of goodies to tempt them in case they were a bit 'down' the following day but they were all charging around like the loonies they usually are  xx

Hi
My little bun had the jab yest and completely fine!! My vet is a rabbit specialist too

Five of mine had it over Easter and have shown no side affects. They were bouncy that evening and came running for their pellets. When I saw they were still ok the next morning I relaxed a little

My two house buns Vince and Meg were done earlier in the year when I first got them as they had no protection before I rehomed them and I didn't dare risk leaving them until April. But their myxi's run out in June so I'll probably get them both done with the new jab then ;)

My MIL also has five and hers had no side affects either.

Daisy had it today and jack will have it in june. The vet said they had no reports of ill effects the next day. Poor daisy is in a mood now, she hates the car!
