Whats wrong with my rabbit poo?

Oscarandlola

Young Bun
hello,

i got my rabbits 2 weeks ago, and over the last week i have started to notice biggish wet poos' in the cage and the litter tray outside the cage. I am not sure which rabbit is doing this, but wondering if it is something to worry about. Half the poos are small little solid pellets and some of the poo's are like 5 pellets squished together nd wettish. Its not diarrohea as they are still solidish. I have took away all the rabbit food for last 2 days and just fed them 'excel hay and grass' and woke up this morning and still found 3 biggish wettish poo's. I understand their is some poo's that they are meant to eat, but not sure.

Should i be worried or is this normlish?

Thanks

It could be caused by a change in hay and diet. I would suggest trying to find some meadow or timothy hay and fed that on its own. I would also take them to the very for a check up because out can be a sign of an ill rabbit.

I hope you are enjoying having your buns.

Could also be the grass if they not used to it what kind of pellets do you give them and how much I hope they get better soon 

Could it simply be that he's done a few poos altogether, had a wee on them (making them soggy) and then trodden on them, thus squishing them together? I find poo like this both in the outside run and the hutch and this is what I put it down to.
