Possible cat / fox alarm

Stator

If you want something to alert you when a cat/fox is in your garden you might want to consider one of these:

http://www.easyalarms.co.uk/alarm_systems-wireless_plugin_alarm.asp
http://www.amazon.co.uk/wireless-pl...ZDX2/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1334218805&sr=8-2

I've had it for a few weeks and it seems to work okay. It makes a doorbell sound when it detects a heat source moving in my garden and I can go outside and scare the cat off. The range isn't fantastic, you have to put the alarm near the back door and put the sensor somewhere it has a pretty straight view of the back door. It's also not officially outdoor but I've put some duct tape over the joins in the plastic so it should be pretty outdoor safe now.

We sell them here at work, I am very tempted (and I get it trade rate  )

do the buns not trigger it off?

Personally I would not bother with the chimes - foxes dont scare easily and they get very used to sounds.

I would go with the Sonic Foxwatch - and again only the good ones - not one that is on all the time, and only those that are 'focussed' on the sound range that foxes hate (not one that says it gets rid of all sorts of animals).

Sorry I didn't mean it to scare the fox, just to alert the human indoors who can come out and scare it off :)
