  • Please Note - Medical Advice

Please keep in mind that posts on this forum are from members of the public sharing personal opinions. It is not a replacement for qualified medical advice from a veterinarian. Many illnesses share similar symptoms but require different treatments. A medical exam is necessary for an accurate diagnosis, without which appropriate treatment cannot be given.

You should always consult your vet before following any suggestions for medication or treatment you have read about. The wrong treatment could make your rabbit worse or mean your vet is unable to give the correct treatment because of drug interactions. Even non prescription drugs can do harm if given inappropriately.

We are very grateful to members who take time to answer other members questions, but please do be clear in your replies that you are sharing personal experience and not giving instructions on what must be done.

Urgent Medical Advice: If you need, or think you might need, urgent medical advice you should contact a vet. If it is out of working hours phone your vet's normal number and there should be an answer phone message with instructions on what to do.

Little Miss Nibbles off to vet! Good 'G.A' vibes please!

My tiny, timid little rescue is off to the vet now. Please make a circle of love and good vibes for her G.A and her examinations and whatever they have to do to her.
Am very, very upset and tearful because I have found wounds on her that are not consistent with bites from other rabbits so these will be checked out also.

NIBBLES, WE LOVE YOU. BE STRONG! XXXXXX

Thankyou everybundy :thumb: She is now in the very good care of my vet and I will pick her up tomorrow afternoon. She is not currently pregnant, as in the sense 'advanced', PHEW!!! :thumb:

OMG, she's only been here a few days, but I feel sick inside walking away and leaving her there, really choked up and tearful. She was so good for Ian too, layed there like a little angel whilst he checked her over and rested quietly in his arms when he carried her off to her 'ward'. And yes, there are 'suspicious' wounds on her. Poor, poor little Nibbles
You'll never be hurt or hungry or thirsty or anything bad ever again little one cos if anyone ever even looks at you wrong from here on in, they will be wearing their bottom as a halo. You are safe now

Poor girl. Lots of vibes that she pulls through this quickly and goes on to have a wonderful life. :)
