she decided to roost there! as the light was fading and chickens can't see in the dark, she would of stayed their all night ha! we had to carry her back to her coop lol!
soo cute i have chickens one called Mage other called Harriet and save the best till last Spirit (comes to her name and knows food is coming if we say chuck chuck chuck)
i have them for pets and in summer/spring they lay about 3 eggs a day (but two ,Mage and Harriet were moved from a friend and still only lay one but spirit lays two and we have had her for a year) the only down side is cleaning them out (they smell a lot)
both I guess, she lays ever 24.5 hours so 1 egg a day, we do use the eggs, and also give some away to friends and family etc, but would still have them even if they didn't lay x
