Took the dogs for walkies (pics)

Had a burst of energy today so thought I would take poppy and lily for a walk! Only went out for about 15-20mins

Second time out of the house since christmas, but had fun! the girls seemed to enjoy someone different taking them out!

though i'm in bed in agony now but it was worth it

I took some pics, I live right by the sea! and walk along the small river that leads to the big river 7, and you can see across to wales

Poppy is th one on the flexi lead, as she will literally swim down the river to the lock, and then gets stuck!

Why is she on a flexi lead and a halti? She could've seriously injured herself if she'd ran to the end of the line.

your dogs are lovely.. chocolate labs are just too cute!

nice walking where you are and the weather is just right for it today.
hope you aren't suffering too much though.

I don't see how! it's no different to pulling on a normal lead :/

shes always been on it and shes nearly 8 now

I agree about the head collar though, if she sprinted to the end of the lead (ANY lead for that matter), her head could twist round sharply and break her neck. Just be aware.

oo okay, so far ive never seen her run flat out whilst on the halti, I wouldn't be able to walk her without it tho! on the halti I can walk her with a finger tip, off the halti it takes my full weight!
