Hi,
One of my two buns - Charlie - has had several episodes of gassiness over 3 years. The last one was yesterday - I took him to my usual vet and he said he sounded a bit gassy, but was pooping by then and ate when he got home. He has been like this several times before. The day and night before he had only had hay and small amount of pellets - no veg/herbs that day.
Do you think he would benefit from either VetCarePlus Digestive food, or Protexin Profibre. My vet said he was a bit unsure - but said that the Protexin Profibre wouldn't do any harm - he just said that as he's quite a good hay eater, it wasn't necessarily needed....
Anybody any ideas? I'm always quick to notice it with him as I now make my two eat their pellets separately, just for this reason (so I can see what's going on). Also, they are both house rabbits.
