New bunnies coming home on thursday and i have a question?

Hi, I'm getting two 8week old minilops on Thursday and i'm wondering when its best to worm them? I lost my last rabbit to Ec and Ive heard if you worm rabbits with panacur for 9 days, twice a year it helps prevent EC. Is this right and if so what age do my buns have to be before i can do this? Thanks for any info. x
