Bereaved bunny cuddles his dog toy pink pig!

AFter losing his mrs on Wednesday and all the trauma of that and a new cage on his own I bought him a pink pig dog toy that I was told was had nothing in it to harm a pet if it was nibbled and left it in his cage.

Today my husband peaked in his sleeping compartment and he was rearranging the pig and then he cuddled up to it.
A friend who bred rabbits told me to do this as she did it with her male rabbit who had for obvious reasons to be kept on his own most of the year.

So fingers crossed he will bond with his pink pig!

Poor chap. Will you be considering getting him a new wifeybun? A cuddly toy can be a good interim measure but can't replace the company of a real rabbit.

I've always given a bereaved bunny a soft toy to snuggle to. It really does seem to help.

I hope though that you will consider getting a new bunny friend.

So many out there in rescues looking for a lovely forever home.
