Shakespeare is the name he comes with, I can change it, but I like it. ^_^ My mom will give him a nickname though, because it's hard for her to pronounce.

You can hear us speaking English at certain points in the video. That's because the lady who bred him and his siblings is English (I don't know where from exactly). She's been living in Italy with her Italian husband for 30+ years now but still speaks with this strong, lovely English accent. It's her who chose the name.
No, a ragdoll. I never dreamt in my wildest dreams of owning a ragdoll cat but then, while I was looking for a cat to adopt, I found they were at just 10 minutes from where we live. I had started with the idea of rehoming an adult cat, but my mom was not favorable to bringing a "Thomas O' Malley" home and I had to compromise. She wanted a kitten too. And if I really have to be honest, I'm not unhappy about this particular one at all.
I feel ashamed though, I always said I didn't approve of only owning purebred cats and I'm prefectly aware that there are so many in rescues. This is an indulgency towards myself.
The dogs they have are purebred too, Bichon Avanais. I was surprised by how affectionate they were. From the very first time they saw me they asked for cuddles and head rubs despite me being a total stranger to them!
