New Kit
hi all,
we have 2 indoor lopps x lions identical cute grey/blue in colour they are now 7mnths old.Could anyone tell us how to find the sex of the rabbits as we were told they were both female when we bought them at 12weeks old. Just recently one of the said sisters has taken a shine to the more relaxed of the two chalk and cheese characters that jessica and lucy display where one is more laid back all the time and has a not intrested attitude(lucy) the other is more aggile and interactive but jessica is now tryin to mate with lucy....confused ..please help.

rabbits of the same sex will hump each other. However to be certain I would make an appointment with the vet asap to have their sex identified

whether they are both female or one is male and one famale I would have them both neutered. There are high risks of cancer in female rabbits if they are not neutered, neutering also makes life better for the bun especially in males calms them down sort out hormones etc..

:thumb: to what little-laura said.

Unfortunately, they will have hit hormone age now. They really need spaying, as the very sad reality is the high rate of cancer, but also, that they may well end up fighting and you won't be able to keep them together. Spaying them should avoid both of these problems!
