Are branflakes okay for rabbits?

Truffles just jumped into a drawer and started helping himself :? He only got a few but as he can't eat hay at the moment (he's having a dental on Monday) might they actually be a good source of fibre for him?

Poppy gets some as a treat from me when I have a bowl. Dont know if they are any good but she certainly loves them. Perhaps that means they have something not so good in them as she goes mad for them?

Ahh i duno, certainly a nice treat though!!

The occasional Bran Flake as a treat is fine but certainly not as a part of the 'normal' diet. The Fibre they contain is the 'wrong' sort and the high sugar content will cause gut dysbiosis xx

I don't feed bran flakes as they have lots of additives. I use mini shredded wheat occasionally as a treat with meds but not often. When we sore a bunny specialist the other year with a bunny that we desperately needed to get to eat just anything, she suggested cheerios. But we have never tried them :?

Mine go nuts for Weetabix when I have them but I avoid letting them have any. Occasionally I let them all have a tiny nibble though ;)

I told Truffles. There was much foot-stamping (his not mine). Better safe than sorry but he did love them :(
