Litter trained bunny weeing?

We are still unsure of Gimli's gender we are going to take him (I think he's a little boy) to the vets for the vet to have a look for the third time, because I am looking in to the spay/neuter as he is six months now. For the past month he has started to wee on my bed (so much I had to buy a new duvet cover) and pees on our beanbag a lot (its a faux leather one luckily) and has recently peed on my carpet. Is this a sign of hormones? Is this common for both rabbit genders or just one?:?

Yes, sounds like hormones to me. ooh I remember when Molly (a boy) went through the peeing on the bed thing before he was neutered. I think anywhere that really strongly smells of someone else is a target for weeing.
