Poppy's not drinking

When i went to the SSPCA to get Poppy, i noticed that they didn't have water bottles. I have put one in her run but she hasn't even touched it in the past 2 days. Im sure she must know what it is and that there's water coming out of it but she wont drink any. What should i do:?

Give her a water bowl

Some bunnies don't know or understand how to use a bottle, and some bunnies just can't. If she had a bowl previously it's better just to give her what she is used to.

Everytime i give her a bowl, she tips it over and the water goes everywhere

What kind of bowl are you using?

Could you maybe look to get a ceramic bowl? Some of the dog ones are heavier and so can be difficult to shift, but then I've not had a bunny flip the normal bunny ceramic bowls either.

Wilkos and Pets at Home sell heavy rabbit bowls (beige colour). :wave:

The heavy ceramic dog bowls are even harder for them to tip :thumb:

Definitely ceramic - mine tip metal bowls and heavy plastic ones :lol::lol:

I use a bowl similar to this:

it's pretty heavy and the wide base makes it hard to tip over.

Thanks everyone. I've just filled one of the P@H ceramic bowls with water. I'll tell you if she drinks any or not.
