Please keep in mind that posts on this forum are from members of the public sharing personal opinions. It is not a replacement for qualified medical advice from a veterinarian. Many illnesses share similar symptoms but require different treatments. A medical exam is necessary for an accurate diagnosis, without which appropriate treatment cannot be given.

You should always consult your vet before following any suggestions for medication or treatment you have read about. The wrong treatment could make your rabbit worse or mean your vet is unable to give the correct treatment because of drug interactions. Even non prescription drugs can do harm if given inappropriately.

Urgent Medical Advice: If you need, or think you might need, urgent medical advice you should contact a vet. If it is out of working hours phone your vet's normal number and there should be an answer phone message with instructions on what to do.

humping and chasing?

Hi all, my 3 buns have begun humping each other and chasing, they are all neutered and have got on fine uptill today. I have been away for 10 days and they have been in boarding they came home last night. The boss of the trio is the only one that could get a little bulshy at times but it was the one in the middle humping him today. Could they just be a little unsettled now they are back home? Also what should i do when they start doing it. They are back to having free time around the house should i restrict this to their enclosure for now? I am going away this eve and have someone coming to feed and give them their free time in the morn i should be back by midday but a little worried if they start scraping they have never had a fall out before and the humping does not seem aggressive. One also started digging at the other when he was led down also. There is no biting or fur pulling. Any info would be gratefully recieved.

Thank you in advanced.

Sound slike they're just re-establishing their teritory at the moment. I'd keep an eye on them as best as you can but I should think they're fine, they're just sorting things out in bunny talk :)

thank you thats what i hoped when they hump if they do again should i leave them to it and not move them if its not aggresive x
