Please keep in mind that posts on this forum are from members of the public sharing personal opinions. It is not a replacement for qualified medical advice from a veterinarian. Many illnesses share similar symptoms but require different treatments. A medical exam is necessary for an accurate diagnosis, without which appropriate treatment cannot be given.

You should always consult your vet before following any suggestions for medication or treatment you have read about. The wrong treatment could make your rabbit worse or mean your vet is unable to give the correct treatment because of drug interactions. Even non prescription drugs can do harm if given inappropriately.

Urgent Medical Advice: If you need, or think you might need, urgent medical advice you should contact a vet. If it is out of working hours phone your vet's normal number and there should be an answer phone message with instructions on what to do.

Can i have some vibes for my Sooty please :( u/d 30/12

crazy daisy

Warren Scout
Both my buns were at the vets this afternoon. Daisy has got an eye infection which i have some cream for. Sooty has not eaten since last night, he has shown no interest in his food not even a crunchie :(. Vet gave him sub cut fluids, metacam injection and another injection to help stimulate his tummy. He still has got tummy movement so its not statis yet but Im worried about him. He has had tummy probs in the past but normally an injection of metacam and some parafin solved it. The vet also said he needed to be brought inside as his temp was low so he is currently in the spare room with Daisy and he is snuggled up with a couple of heat packs. Is there anything else i should be doing? I've syringe fed him with some mushed up pro fibre pellets, how often do i need to do this? I was also worried about bringing Daisy inside but didn't really wanted to have them seperated, was this the right thing to do? Any vibes or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
