Many illnesses share similar symptoms but require different treatments. A medical exam is necessary for an accurate diagnosis, without which appropriate treatment cannot be given.

The wrong treatment could make your rabbit worse or mean your vet is unable to give the correct treatment because of drug interactions. Even non prescription drugs can do harm if given inappropriately.

Urgent Medical Advice: If you need, or think you might need, urgent medical advice you should contact a vet. If it is out of working hours phone your vet's normal number and there should be an answer phone message with instructions on what to do.

Painting the inside of hutches?

I believe the wilkos brand of pain is pet safe and inside the buns shed i am contemplating touching up the hutches (just the place they can hop in and out of to feel secure) because i've had the old hutch for a few years now and there are water marks and it looking a little run down. Was going to paint them but then wondered if i should do the inside (where they hide and sleep and eat hay) or will it be all fume like and be unhealthy for their lungs? what if they chew the wood will it be ok to do the inside?

If painting the inside you shouldn't have the bunnies in there for at least 24hrs, maybe longer depending on the paint.

My personal opinion is that unless the inside of the hutch is a mess, I wouldn't paint it at all to be on the safe side. It's not like the bunnies are going to go back in and think "ooh, I like the colour ..."
