Rabbit eye questions

Imogen has blue eyes (the coloured bits) and red middles :shock: I've never seen that before, has anyone else?

She also scans a bit, do you think thats from the red middle as REW's do :wave:

Last one, her right eye is half and half. Why does that happen? I've seen it in one other bun on here :?

I think that's just the vienna gene doing it's thing, to be honest. Many rabbits who show the vienna gene (not even necessarily in their eyes) have a ruby 'glow' in the middle in certain lights.

I've found them to be more sensitive to light, but nothing else different from an average rabbit really. It sounds though, like her eyesight is not 100% if she is scanning.

Buckley gets red demon pupils in certain lights. I thought it was just like when we get red eye in photos.

I figured it was the viena gene glad to have it confirmed.

When i see her pupils are red, I mean they are really red! It doesnt show in the picture as the room was dark/ the lighting wasnt right :wave: I'll try and get a picture
