I keep bringing them home free treats :lol:!
Latest batch... I bought these:
(some curly kale, a cabbage and a parsnip)
and got these free:
i.e. 6 cabbages, 3 heads of lettuce (2 are iceberg so I won't use them for buns), 1 bag of mixed salad, 2 peppers, 4 aubergines :shock:
They were all 'unsaleable'! The cabbages are a tiny bit droopy but they'll be fine for a good 5 days or so yet! One lettuce was ruined so I chucked that, the peppers were a bit soft but we'll have them for tea, and the aubergines each had a tiny mark on them :shock:
Nenä & Täplä are spoilt and even people who haven't met them fall in love with them :lol: :roll:
