Posting this on behalf of a friend, if anyone can offer any advice at all that would be great, she's tried so much to try and help Daisy:
Does anyone have any updated information on using Propalin for rabbits. We have a dear bunny called Daisy who is only 2 but has been engaged with ongoing problems following her routine spey when she was 5 months old. She has been treated for EC, x-rays, antibios, pain relief, but still she remains totally incontinent apart from a short spell of 3 weeks when she was bombarded with drugs. The very sad thing is that she is very well in herself painfree, loves her food and veggies. We have tried incurin for a very brief spell, I have concerns.. she has only been on propalin 0.05mls 3xdaily for 36 hours but I have noticed that either her anxiety is heightened? or it could be hyperactivity which is a known side effect from the drug? I so do not wish Daisy to be at risk from a heart condition or attack from any effects the drug may produce.... I have read past posts that after 10 days the incontinence can stop so maybe we should carry on? ..... if you have any encouraging feedback that would be lovely.....
Thanks
