£52!!

Woo :thumb: :D:D:D Next Friday :) She has to wear a collar  Queenie will not be impressed

Wow thats cheap!

After Donny and Leo were neutered for £33.10 I was expecting double that but not £52 at all. And they aren't a scabby vets either  £52 is the price of a neuter at the old vets we went to so big difference  their spay price was about £85

Mine were both £59 each :thumb: wishing her lots and lots of luck! x

I need it  really scared now! She's 4 and has an allergy to dusty things so sneezes sometimes (so le hoomin' is worried ) but it means after Christmas that Leo and Pops can be bonded!

My local vet charges £100 for a spay  And their success rate isn't very high apparently :( So I don't dare get my girly spayed  When I move to another city and manage to find a good vet there I will definitely consider it, I'm terrified of losing her to cancer  But right now I can't. I hope everything goes well for your little girl :)

oura xharge £110 for psey and all aftercare etc, but mabel got it half price as at the time they had reduced neutering/speying scheme on

That's why I want her spayed before she is 5 in May. She is my first bunny and I couldn't bare losing her to something I could have prevented :( I'm excited for her but I will more than likely cry when we leave her lol... When you find a good vet go for it though! The expensive vets we went to knew nothing but charged the world. I know what you mean though as I would never have Poppy or Lola spayed there. I trust the vets we use now :thumb:

That's a very good price, especially if you're getting a vet you really trust too.

Mine are going to be about £80 each (being done one at a time). But both buns have been ill before and have been put under GA with no problems by this vet who is a rabbit specialist, and he's told me he only gets a couple a year who've pulled their stitches - out of the many rabbits he spays - so I'd rather pay for them to go there.

If I didn't trust them then I would find another vets, it's a plus that they are so cheap lol. Vaccs are £14.50 for myxi and £14 for VHD :)
Pops has been under GA for a dental so hopefully it goes well  She has to have a collar after which is £2.70 so not much more added onto the overall price. I wouldn't mind paying more if it was though :)

The only places anywhere nearby that have similar prices to your vets are a) a place I've already been to, who gave me some bad advice, possibly prolonged one rabbit's illness, and generally seemed a bit clueless, and b) the bog-standard cat and dog vets down the road who don't seem to know much about rabbits.

It's great you've got a vet which is both better and cheaper :)

Wow thats cheap as chips :D

When I adopted Charlotte I offered to refund the rescue for the cost of her spay and any post spay meds. Ended up costing me 250 Euros :shock::shock: Apparantly the rescues vet is "amazing, but really expensive." No s**t!!

Buckley's neuter is going to cost £75!
(Totally worth it though to have it done by a specialist who knows Buckley inside out haha)

That's a brilliant price for a spay!

Try not to worry, I know how you feel. When Bill was neutered I felt so sick he has a breathing problem but is so happy in himself the vet said it would be risk but he came through his op with no complications. When I went to pick him up he started munching his hay in the carrier on the way home. No matter how many times we are told not to worry we always will because we love them so much.:D

It cost us £88 for Bella's spay  but they are really good vets and neutered my male rabbit :) They internally stitched her and glued it, she had it done in october and you cant even see a mark now :D they are not rabbit savvy vets but they are very knowledgeable and have spayed and neutered many rabbits :)
5 days before the op she had to have bio-lapis gut stimulant in her water and after the operation they gave a her a pain relief injection and she didnt need to go back for more pain relief as she recover so well, she was eating straight away and was really lively, we were so lucky. My young lily will be spayed in spring, a bit nervous as she has never had GA  x

My vets charge £50 for speys, meds and aftercare. VHD and Mixxi vaccs are £33 for a year on a combined discount:D
