Advice please!!!

Hi i have two rescue bunnies and during the day they are allowed to stay in the house or freerange in the garden as they use the catflap. When it gets dark we lock the catflap so they cant get out. However i was wondering was this bad for them as they stay out for however long they want but come back in normally. They are lionheads to have thick fur at the moment.

I personally think this sounds like a good set up.

If they have the choice to come in and are sensible enough to come in when they are cold I should think that's fine. Temperature changes can affect respiratory systems but if they can come in I wouldn't see a problem
