One of our four rabbits went in for a spay earlier this year but the vet found no womb. We adopted her from the RSPCA when she was about 8 weeks old so she hadn't been previously spayed. The vet is almost certain she is a hermaphrodite but says it might be a good idea (just to double check) to try again to see if anything has changed now that she has matured. I wasn't going to bother as she's bonded in a quad but she's getting a little territorial now (just with one rabbit in particular it would appear), but also because she hasn't litter trained herself properly and still pee's everywhere...mostly on the outside of her litter box  I'm just wondering whether I should have her in for a spay again as I don't want her getting possible health issues in the future if she does turn out to be a fully equipt female.....at present, we are all under the impression (including vet) that she is a female, only externally. It might be worth mentioning my vet is a rabbit specialist who spent 45 minutes trying to locate her womb originally with no success but called the opperation off due to anesthetic side effects with regards to her health etc. He is expecting that she may begin to grow boy bits when breeding season starts but obviously it's a waiting game, or/and a do we or don't we try a second spay.
