Calling All Indoor Bunny Owners

Elena

Wise Old Thumper
I'm going to be tidying up the sticky in a few days time so now is a GREAT time to send me any photos you have of your indoor bunnies housing... be it a dog crate, puppy pen, proofing, free range areas, etc. I'll use as many as I can. :thumb:

You can PM them to me or post them in this thread, it's up to you. ;)

Poppy's home :) She doesn't have the purple box anymore as that is Donny's new litter tray  and she has a hay rack with her next to her box when she wants a sniff or a gum at it :)

When Thumper was a baby & learning, he was only left unsupervised in the Kitchen/utility area, went into an outdoor hutch & run for daily fresh air, & was strictly supervised in the rest of the house for regular "play".
After 6 months - a year he was safe to have complete freedom of the house, but was always supervised every second he free ranged the garden with constant escape access to the house through french doors.

It's a moot point whether I shared my bedroom with him or slept in his hutch. Here we are sharing the house.
Toilet arrangement based on a wildie latrine - invaluable when he became ill & I had to monitor urine output as well as poops.

Food tray. His favourite safe hidey place (hutch) was under the curtained dressing table.

Only problem - he liked to chill out in doorways so he didn't miss any "action".

Here is our Bunny set up, it's more a case of us living in the bunny's room! We recently got a new hunbun Lotty so the room is a little different, we are slowely adding the things back in, the nic cube house is currently in the garage as Lotty is a tripod we need to add ramps etc..

HI, emperor bouncers here, this is my kingdom which the hoomans are only allowed in by special appointment, usually to provide nom noms.

I have my nom nom tray which gets cleaned out twice a day and my refreshment centre with a fluffy bed.

I have free range of the downstairs which includes the kitchen and the dining room all day and night, in here I have another water bowl, my snuggle mat and some toys. when the hoomans are here I can go anywhere in the house :thumb:

Lola and Maximus' room. It's smaller than Jemimah and Rogers but Lola and Max's room is conjoined to our bedroom so they just have that too.
