How much cardboard is too much?!

My buns live to chew and eat cardboard. They have a massive burrow box that they chew on as well as boxes they love playing with and chewing.

Should I monitor the amount they eat? How much would be harmful to them?

I would be worried about them snacking on carboard ...but then i dont know much about bunnies yet! Mine like toilet rolls stuffed with hay and they pick them up and chuck them around but they dont really eat them too much...i would worry that it would clogg them up and cause blockages so I would just avoid it if they eat...maybe try willow/grass house thingis? then it doesnt matter if they eat it

Buns love to eat many things that you and I see as not edible but there is a limit to how much they should be allowed to eat. there is a web site, I will look for the link.

Personally I dont let mine eat cardboard, incase it causes a blockage.
As yours love it so much maybe only offer it in small amounts as a treat :wave:
