Christmas trees and rabbits

If I got a real Christmas tree and the rabbits decided to have a munch would it hurt them?

I have plastic one I use every year and my buns love sitting under it but leave it alone other than that. My old tree (now retired) was chewed a lot by Darcy when he was a baby. This tree must not be as tasty as none of them chew it!

I wouldn't buy a real one as there are so many that could be bad for the buns to chew. Also, I find it so heartbreaking after Christmas Day when people just chuck the real trees out with their trash.

We had to buy a fibreoptic for the bay window as our bridge bunny use to love climbing up the branches all the way to the top.:roll:
