Can you recomend me a brush please  the only one I have is similar to the furminator which would just ruin the new buns coat!
a double maned is a fluffy all over bun
I think a slicker brush and a comb are the 2 things I really need

Buckley isn't double maned but he's very fluffy, and I have a fluffy kitty too. I use a tangle teezer on them (the ones they sell in boots) and they're really good!
oooh that looks like a good idea
Not sure what a double maned lionhead is but I use these for my lionhead's mane and fluffy bum and other fluffy bits, they are fairly wide toothed so identify and can help tangles without pulling too much:

they are useless for getting moulting hair out though, because they are wide toothed.
She doesnt like being brushed, and hardly lets me touch her, so I find its easier and less stressful for her to get her bum and underneath fluff trimmed by the vet when it gets long and I just carefully cut out any proper matts in her mane, which surprisingly she hardly ever gets as long as I keep on top of checking her and pulling any megazorb or hay out of it.
I use a comb aswell. A brush wouldn't do anything for Casper.
Thats his summer coat you should see him in winter!
