Bunnies at the snowdome!

I took my children to the snowdome in tamworth today for the christmas experience thingi and they had loads of bunnies, they were so cute...absolutly gorgeous but they had no hay in the pen and there was an awful lot of them! I pointed out the lack of hay to the 'rabbit person' but she didnt really seem to think there was much of a problem. They did have pellets and lots of bowls of water.



I fell in love with this little one and they let me hold him/her...he/she snuggled their nose right into the crook of my arm and I just wanted to walk off before anyone noticed and bring it home...so gorgeous! I put him/her back next to the bowl and he/she just carried on eating...so oblivious to the complete chaos aroound them all!!


How on earth do they manage to safely put so many together?

Wow, I can't imagine that many rabbits being spayed/neutered, did you ask anything about that?

Surely they must all be neutered....any fights?? Largest bond ever??

No I didnt ask and tbh it was snowdome christmas staff so i dont think they would have had a clue (but of course im only speculating!) :? I also wondered about vaccs...

They were so well behaved, no fighting, I stood there for about half hour and they were all just hopping around happily...some were flopped in the corners etc. There was no chasing or anything! I was simply amazed really...

Wow if only rabbits got along well, it would be so neat to have a big group. It's my dream to have like 8-12 together, which seems like nothing compared to that :shock: It seems like if you have no idea what you're doing and you try to bond rabbits you succeed, but if you're experienced they just end up fighting.

Something tells me they're not all neutered/spayed/vaccinated though And they need hay and no shavings.

I always wanted so many bunnies I could lie in the middle of them an make a bunny angel (like a snow angel).
