Please keep in mind that posts on this forum are from members of the public sharing personal opinions. It is not a replacement for qualified medical advice from a veterinarian. Many illnesses share similar symptoms but require different treatments. A medical exam is necessary for an accurate diagnosis, without which appropriate treatment cannot be given.

You should always consult your vet before following any suggestions for medication or treatment you have read about. The wrong treatment could make your rabbit worse or mean your vet is unable to give the correct treatment because of drug interactions. Even non prescription drugs can do harm if given inappropriately.

Urgent Medical Advice: If you need, or think you might need, urgent medical advice you should contact a vet. If it is out of working hours phone your vet's normal number and there should be an answer phone message with instructions on what to do.

Tiny black hard poops

Radish seems to be pooping tiny black hard poops uncontrollably when she is outside her cage. She is still doing her normal golden boulder poops in her litter tray and is eating and drinking normally so isn't stasis related.

Any ideas why this might be happening? Other than this she is fine within herself it's just having to clear up after her. It only started about 2-3 weeks ago and there has been no dietary change either.

Maybe she is doing it on purpose to mark her territory but has to force it out because she doesn't need a real poo?

I'd monitor her very closely, they can be a sign of problems.

I'd agree, it *could* be a sign of a GI issue, but then if they are eating grass, the poops can turn dark, but not sure about how far down the gut that starts.

I'd closely monitor, it could be territorial marking.

Is Radish indoor or outdoor? I assume indoor, as you said 'cage'.

Has ANYTHING (even the tiniest thing) changed in her environment, anything moved/added/removed etc?

Yeah, it *could* be stasis, though when Mandy does those tiny black ones, its usually all she does, you never see the golden ones until she is ok again.
I would keep an eye on her, and see if she stops doing the golden ones.

Best of luck!
