Hello
Just looking for some interim advice. My special needs Nethie has lost quite a bit of weight over the course of the week and I am getting a bit concerned. He has free access to hay and pellets, greens are given in small amounts as he can get a messy bottom if it is given too freely. Obviously he has fresh water that is changed at least twice a day.
He appears to be eating okay and is bright and active in himself. Just wondering what I can give him to increase his weight without upsetting his tummy. Before his lady friend arrived he was not a very mobile bunny but since she has arrived he has been bounding around and I wonder if he is not eating enough to replace the calories he is now burning off?
If there is no improvement I will be taking him to the vets on Monday.
