Many illnesses share similar symptoms but require different treatments. A medical exam is necessary for an accurate diagnosis, without which appropriate treatment cannot be given.

You should always consult your vet before following any suggestions for medication or treatment you have read about. The wrong treatment could make your rabbit worse or mean your vet is unable to give the correct treatment because of drug interactions. Even non prescription drugs can do harm if given inappropriately.

Rabbit Savvy Vets near Tunbridge Wells?

Hello,

Does anyone know of any vets in the Tonbridge Wells/Crowborough area who have experience with Rabbits? We've just moved to the area and are using a place called Well House in Crowborough who seem ok but I wanted to see if anyone has any recomendations!

Thanks in Advance!

Alan

Hiya,

I go to Companion Care vets in the Pets At Home store in North Farm.

My bunny has A LOT of problems and Graham (the vet there) is absolutely fantastic. He is not a rabbit specialist however he is extremely knowledgeable and is a fantastic surgeon. He has just welcomed a new partner to the practice who IS an exotic specialist. With these two your buns are in the safest hands!

Everyone there is great. When my partner and I had booked a holiday and our bun Charlie got so ill at the last minute and couldn't go to bunny bording, he arranged for one of the vet nurses to take care of her whilst we were gone!

:)

Thanks for the reply, I've always been a bit wary of the vets in Pets at Home but I will consider them. The addition of an Exotics specialist is definitely a bonus though!

I know what your saying. We recently moved from Swansea and the vet in PAH there was bloody terrible, But it is Graham's surgery its just a franchise under the Companion Care name. Entirely your choice but I don't think you'll find a better vet around here :)

Dunno if youre near Maidstone?? Trinity vets...a guy called Mark comes highly recommended and I havent moved to Kent yet,(but hoping to very soon).

No we're quite a long way away so wouldn't be suitable! I'm definitely going to look into the Pets at Home vets though as they sound promising!
