Her name is Aoife (ee-fa).
She started saying it 2 days after she arrived. The lady from the Parrot Rescue who arranged the adoption suggested we add Rose to it to become Aoife Rose, which is rather nice.

Parrots are on my wish list for maybe one day. I know where I can find a rather good parrot vet too, which would come in very useful.

Yes she is an Eclectus but we're not sure which of the 9 sub-species. Possibility is she is a cross between two of them.
It is like with bunnies, when you find a savvy vet you stick to them. Our's is excellent and specialises in Eclectus.
