I didn't know he'd gone either.
A colleague saw him in Ilkley only a few months ago, out with his companion (possibly carer). He was dressed in sports clothes and wearing bling. He got chatting to some old ladies next to him at Betty's and bought them some cake. It sound like he was in real life like the character he appeared to be.
