Straw

Its safe right??

Last 2 times Ive been into my petshop theyve been out of my usual litter. Ive now ran out so am unfortunately having to resort to wood shavings. I bought some straw to put on top of it so that the buns are not in direct contact with the wood shavings. Is this safe?

Obviously its only a temporary measure, and its only in their litter trays :wave:

Straw is fine. It's not particularly nutritious but it won't harm them.

My rabbit lives in a hutch full of straw. She nibbles it (Doesn't eat it) and sleeps in it.x

I always use straw in the litter boxes, the bunnies love it.
