Today is happy 2nd Gotcha Day for Fay and Starbuck. We adopted them both 2 years ago from different places, the intention was to bond them together, but it didn't work out. After some time as single buns, they are both fully loved up with partners (Fay with Kenco and Starbuck with Muesli).
Fay came from the RSPCA as a one year old doe. She had been dumped in a field in a box with some other bunnies and was very poorly. But she recovered and came to live with us. Fay is an agouti lop, and has three loves in life: food, running, and Kenco.
Happy birthday Miss Fay, we love you lots and lots and so privileged to have you with us, 2 years has already gone so fast.
Starbuck was adopted via an RU member, who looked after him after he was handed in as a stray to the vets. We don't know how old he is, but we went with two when he arrived so now think of him as 4 years old today. Starbuck is deaf, and has dental problems and also tear duct issues. He recently has begun to develop the beginnings of cataracts, but as we already had to approach him carefully because of his hearing, and because he has Muesli to help him, it doesn't bother him too much. He is a black dwarf lop and so sensitive, he really is a little cutie, very endearing to everyone who comes to visit. We love you lots & lots Starby, thank you for always making me smile
