hi all......
sorry i havent been on here for a while:oops: we have recently moved into our dream house and have been very busy:D
we never used to have a garden... we now have and buttons and hazel absolutely love it:love:
the thing thats worrying me is that the weather is getting colder and as the bunnies are indoor buns they are not used to the cold.
how cold is too cold for them to go out? we havent had the heating on yet ...so its not been a big difference in temperature between in and out..
any advice greatly received:D
thanks
kellie, buttons and hazel

I think as long as they aren't out for too long they'll be ok - maybe you could put a shelter in the run where they can snuggle up if they want to?

Can they get in and out of their own accord? ie. through a door or cat flap or are they relying on you to lift them out of a pen or open the door for them?

we have french doors that go out into the garden and theres always myself or my oh to let them in if they decide enoughs ,enough:lol:
just wondering as today was getting chilly so i only let everyone out for an hour:oops: they have a little wooden house in the front room that they retreat to if they want some alone time....maybe i could put that in the garden when they are out?

I put Twinkle out for about 3 hours today (housebun) but he looked a bit miserable so I brought him in again. I don't think I'll put him out much after this weekend as the temperature is due to drop well below 15c. I love him to go out for a little while and get some fresh air but I also worry about him getting to cold when he just sits about.

i feel terrible as they adore the garden but obviously i cant tell them ,its raining/ cold/dark:oops::lol: so i know they think why cant i go out today?
