Warren Veteran
OK I've read through the links. It seems that it could be either an inner ear infection or EC. She has still not improved but she hasn't deteriorated which is good. By the sounds of it there's nothing much anybody can do apart from give her the right medication and hope it works. :? I have mentioned about the anti-inflammatory (metacam) and Erika is going to tell the vet when she is going back for her check up. Her head tilt won't improve without the anti-inflammatory by what I've read so it's important the vet gives her it and I'm a bit annoyed he didn't give her it in the first place.
As for giving her to a rescue, she is already at one so that would be a bit pointless. If she did have a bad turn I'm almost certain Erika would bring her inside. She seems really good apart from having to see everything side-ways. She rolls if you pick her up but that's expected and I try to avoid picking her up as it must be awful for her but she tends to hop off while I'm giving her the medication lol so it's a must unfortunately.
Does anybody have a time scale we can expect her head tilt to improve if it does at all?
