Bonding Male rabbits

if they are both neutered then its just the same as trying to bond male/female:

It all depends on temperament.

I don't know much about bonding as I've never had to do it. Both my boys were males and couldn't have been closer, but they were littermates. I do know you have to wait 6 weeks post op, and bond in a small space on neutral ground. Good luck!

Thank hoppit. I'm getting him from local rabbit rescue so they said I can't get him home till he's all healed and ready. So figures cross :)

If you have a male already I would tend to go for a female as a companion, you can bond males but it's more difficult and more likely to result in a fight. If the rescue is willing to let you try it then you can see if their personalities match (if both are quite dominant buns you get a fight) but be prepared you may have to take him back as it doesn't always work out.
