Please keep in mind that posts on this forum are from members of the public sharing personal opinions. It is not a replacement for qualified medical advice from a veterinarian. Many illnesses share similar symptoms but require different treatments. A medical exam is necessary for an accurate diagnosis, without which appropriate treatment cannot be given.

You should always consult your vet before following any suggestions for medication or treatment you have read about. The wrong treatment could make your rabbit worse or mean your vet is unable to give the correct treatment because of drug interactions. Even non prescription drugs can do harm if given inappropriately.

Urgent Medical Advice: If you need, or think you might need, urgent medical advice you should contact a vet. If it is out of working hours phone your vet's normal number and there should be an answer phone message with instructions on what to do.

Lapinject side effects?????

I suspect the answer to this is that Buttons is stressed by the trip and health check rather than the actual immuniation but she's had 3 dirty bottoms since her injection. She's now passing normal poos, eating a little and mooching round on the grass.
Green and hay for dinner I think and some lactoB with breakfast.....

Hope with a bit more hay and some time her tummy will settle down xxx Smudge has just come back from his jab il keep an eye on him xxx

I think it's the stress of the trip....I've noticed over the last 2+1/2 weeks (ie bonding period so far) if she's stressed by more space etc a spally bum results.....
She's eaten fenerfreek chrunchies enthusistically, pottered, groomed Isaac and has done some grazing (when she thinks I'm not looking!!!)
Fingers crossed for Smudge, how's he doing? xxxx

Any vaccination is bound to knock them a little :) You haven't been giving extra treats by any chance have you :p To get back in his good books? :p

He is fine thanks still causing chaos! u should see my stairs the things ive had to pile up to stop him nipping up there! i did put some pics on here of him in the week if u want to see him x

How Buttons today hope is she back to normal now?

Smudge had his last night and he has been ok eating drinking and pooping normall but has been a little bit quieter (or he might just be tired with me poking at him every 5 mins making sures hes ok!) but he is back to normal completly now xxx

Fenugreek crunchies contain a lot of corn which as a starchy carbohydrate could easily be attributable to a mild caecal dysbiosis. I certainly would cut back on them or cut them out until it clears up personally.

Her bowels are fine thank you!!!!
No wet poos over night, just some small one. She was off with me this morning but she sometimes is if I don't time her breakfast exactly as she would wish!!!LOL!!!
She was REALLY perky when I popped them out on the grass so have just let her graze. He's had some crunchies (Mister Indestructable gut) but she's grazed after a lovely cuddle with me.
I'm SURE the grotty botty was stress related especially given how stress has affected her during the bonding period.
Thanks for all the support.....glad Mr Smudgie is wrecking your house Katie!!!!! GO MR SMUDGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Update..
Buttons is great today....
Bright this morning, busy this evening and we both enjoyed a cuddle before bed so am sure she's had NO side effects from her lapinject and it was all just stress.
Can highly recommend it as a vacc!!!
