How do I bond a third into a pair?

Ok so I've bonded pairs before, but I've now got a male/ female pair and a bereaved male who I want to add to the pair so they all get more space and company!

How do I do it!

Do I ....
put the two males together first then add the female
Put the new male with the female
Or put them all in together from the start?

Also, what size area is best to use for them. I think the bonding areas I've used in the past have been too big possibly?

Sorry, haven't got any advice as we are in exactly the same situation. Existing male/female pair and single recently bereaved male.
