How long would you leave it...?

When your bun's 'not right' - refusing his favourite treats, not pooing that you've seen, obviously uncomfortable and very quiet. How long do you keep an eye on him before you take him to the vets?

I usually leave it half an hour with Smudge purely because the trip can make it worse so if we can get him sorted out in half an hour then it's better for him. I wouldn't leave it longer than that.

I will treat with Infacol and get them moving around, and if no improvement in an hour (still hunched or pressing tummy to ground) I give another dose of infacol and give it another hour, but book a vets appointment for asap in case there isn't an improvement. After 2 hours I'm on my way to the vet.

I'd rather catch early as I think it's easier to treat in the earliest stages.
