How do Rescues prevent reffered aggression ?

Rescue question:

If a rescue's garden isn't really big, they can't space out the housing, so how do you prevent reffered aggression??

Rabbits that have referred aggression get an enclosure that doesn't have a view of other rabbits.
When they are in a smaller area (ie the hospital room) then we put a barrier up so that they can't see each other.

What about the smell of other rabbits ?

We've not struggled with the smell of other rabbits, we have only struggled with seeing them ('We' being the Rescue I volunteer with). Personally speaking, I only see referred aggression at mine when they can see the bunnies.
