Katie and Betsy go in to be speyed tomorrow, to say I'm nervous is an understatement. Betsy is between 5-6 and I'm really worried about Katie's eye flaring up again with the stress of it all.:(

Katie and Betsy are through their ops, both bloods normal and they flushed Katie's tear ducts. I can pick them up this evening, just need to get them eating and pooping and hopefully in 2 weeks time we can stat bonding!

I've just got them home, both looking quite bright and had a drink. I've settled them in the study in a couple of the indoor rabbit cages. :D
It does make me realise I really need a couple of top opening carriers- it awful trying to get a rabbit out of a normal cat carrier when you don't want to put any pressure in their tummies. I know you still have to pick them up with a top opening one, but you don't have to manipulate them the same first!

Katie and Betsy are now back to normal this morning, scrabbling for breakfast. Betsy took a day or two longer to get over the op, but she is 6.

I have been wondering what to do about Mitzi as she is 8, nearly 9, and rightly or wrongly decided not to have her neutered. She is living happily with her son, Snowball.
