Jasper, you came into my life for a reason, to give me lots and lots of happiness and I thank you for the times we had together. :love:

You chose me. I wasn't even thinking about getting a rabbit but after seeing you in a pet shop, you tugged at my heart strings so much that I HAD to go back for you. After a week of begging, I finally brought you home. :love:

You didn't have the best hutch at first but I knew we'd cope and I'd get you bigger in time. You had the run though which you loved and I have so many happy memories of you running crazy in there. :lol:

Me and you bonded so quickly, you were a snuggle bun and wouldn't leave my side. You even ended up having to be neutered earlier than we wished because you loved me so much you thought I was your bunny partner and wouldn't leave my leg alone!! :shock: :oops:

After your neuter, I desperately wanted to bond you with Mischief and Tinkerbell but Mischief didn't like you and it just wouldn't work.

You were such an active little bunny that I decided to make up some little jumps for you and see if you went over...

You picked it up quickly and ended up jumping onto anything and everything! In 3 weeks time, you were jumping even better.

I know some people think it's cruel baby Jasper but that's just daft if they said it about you. How could I stop you doing something you loved? You jumped over all by yourself and often binkied over them!!! :love:

Mischief used to watch you alot so I tried it with him, he liked it but then decided he didn't, now he likes it again! I think he want's to make you proud baby. :love: This was when you both tried it, I made a similar video at school in ICT class, I was so embarrased when the teacher loved it so much and made me show it to the whole class on the white board!! :roll: But.. it was ok and I was proud of you. :)

I always knew you were special Jasper bun, most bunnies are scared of car journies but oddly, you loved them! :shock: When ever you saw a carrier, you hopped inside it, even when I didn't have to take you anywhere! When I was invited to Honley show to take you to a competition, I was soooo worried about how you'd react, but you were fine!! This was us training before when my dad made proper jumps! :D

I was sooooo proud!!!!!! You came first in beginners class and intermediate. You won lots of prizes for yourself such as treats, food and toys. You were happy ;) You were a show off to the crowds, they didn't bother you one bit and everyone who met you loved you. :love:

After doing so well, I decided that you could help raise some money! You were so amazing so why not? :) I contact Starlight's Rabbit Rescue and Honey Bunnies to see if they'd like some money raised and when I got the yes, you came to Guide's with me and did a jumping display. Everyone loved you! You were like a celebrity Jasper, they had to pay to see you. ;) I then told everyone about rabbit rescues and why it's best to adopt (yes I know you were a pet shop bun but before I got you I didn't know about rescues etc and anyway I never regret getting you one bit!)

You did a very good little display at raised £30, not much I know but there weren't many people watching but... every little helps and the rescues were pleased. :)

You couldn't live with her though as Mischief would not have any of it! So I rescued little Blossom to live with you. Did that work? No :roll: :lol: But you did fool me once or twice:

But then you had a huge fight and I couldn't risk you together, then magically.... Mischief accepted you!! And you lived in a trio with him and Tinker. :D

Being with them also meant you could have free run of the shed too and you loved that! :D You were such a lovely little bunny, everytime I saw you I smiled. I loved having such a close bond with you, you were just amazing!

Our 2nd Honley show where you showed off to the crowd doing your "mega jumps" off harness and lead. :D You could have ran off but you ran straight up to the jump and bounced! :love:

It was amazing having you as a quad, I loved it when you all came running out to see me. :D You were so sweet together and so happy. :love:

In your new set up, I wondered why you never binkied.... now I know you were ill. :cry: We think you were took from us because you had a brain tumor. I didn't want a PM done though, I didn't want your gorgeous body being cut in to, I wanted you back to me, perfect as ever. You must have had a headache. Now thinking back to your final weeks, you were quiet and didn't rush out to greet me like the other rabbits, I'm so sorry, I just thought you were being lazy. I checked you were ok though by opening the food draw, you jumped up desperate and you always came running for treats. You were eating, pooing, I just thought you were alright. :cry: I'm so so sorry Jasper. You acted out of character though, biting the bunnies you loved. It soon stopped but Tink and Blossom had fallen out and all I could do was split you into two pairs. I put you with Tinkerbell, you seemed to be with her the most. When free ranging on the grass, she was the bun you stuck with the most and Mischief stayed with Blossom. I hope I made the right decision but these photos tell me I did:

You were split into your pairs just 2 days before I went on holiday. When you passed, I wasn't there. I never wanted to go but I had too. You were in good hands though, you were with Lynne at Holiday Hutches, she made your last week happy. :love: She found you one evening fitting in the hutch, there was nothing she could do. :cry: Tinkerbell was with you and she groomed you and sat by you when you'd gone. She loved you Jasper, we all did. :love:

You were brought home to me yesterday, you looked beautiful. Your fur was so soft and your feet as dirty as they always were. Your lips still pink and the tip on your ear so white. :love: I buried you next to the path where we always practiced jumping. I laid you on hay and put some over your body. I put in the rose that Lynne got for us and I put in some grass, your favourite treat. Oh Jasper bun I want you back but I know that where ever you are, you must be happy. :cry: I love you so much and I will look after your friends for you. You were the best bunny anyone could wish for, thank you for choosing me. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

What a great tribute! He really was a wonderful bun :) Did I ever send you those human-jump videos with him in? He was only small but he managed to wind me :lol:

he is an amazing bunny, and allways will be. you could tell that you made a hudge inpact on his life, he was so so happy and loved! and he loved you just as much!:love:
 
What a fantastic tribute. :love: Jasper was a super-star of the bunny world, and lucky to have such a brilliant bunny mummy. :thumb:
